Robinson School alumni Danny Lawhorn excels in El Salvador

“Danny Lawhorn (183-PG, college: Midwestern St.) is a 6’0′ American PG from Hartford, Connecticut who plays in the 16-team Salvadoran Liga Mayor de Baloncesto (1st division) for the Halcones de Sonzacate. 2016 is Lawhorn’s second season in El Salvador having played for Cojutepeque in 2015. He is currently averaging 29.6 ppg, 8.1 apg, 5.5 rpg and 3 spg after putting up 31.6, 10.4, 5.5 and 3 last season with Cojutepeque. Lawhorn played collegiately for two years at San Jacinto (TX) Junior College where he was named all-region and led the nation in assists followed by brief stops at Washington State University and Midwestern State University before turning pro. Lawhorn and his Halcones are currently tied for second place with a 21-6 record.”
