Houston, TX – RaShawn Stores (Bronx, NY / Robinson School (NJ)) was named to the 2016 Lefty Driesell Defensive All-America Team after an outstanding senior season.
Stores, who helped Manhattan to two MAAC Championships and three trips to the postseason during his time in Riverdale, spearheaded a defense that ranked 13th nationally with 15.8 turnovers forced per game and 36th with 7.7 steals each time out.
Individually, he was seventh in the MAAC and 143rd nationally with 1.4 steals each time out.
Stores, who was the only MAAC player on the list, also was among the league leaders in three-point percentage (.419-2nd), assist/turnover ratio (1.8-5th) and assists (3.0 apg-10th) while finishing his career ninth in school history with 314 assists.
