Former Newark Vocational star Josh Morris has found his new college home. Morris is headed from Panola Texas Junior College to the University of DC in Washington.
This past season he averaged 11.9 ppg, 7.3 rpg while shooting 67% from the field and 62% from the line.
During the 2013-14 season he averaged 11.9 ppg, 7.9 rpg while shooting 64% from the floor and 70% from the line.
As a senior at Newark Vocational he netted 13.7 ppg, 11.6 rpg and 2.8 bpg. He was named Star Ledger All Group 1 Second Team and Third Team All Essex County.
After high school he spent a post graduate season with the Robinson School.
He was ranked by NJ Hoops #21 Postgrad in the Class of 2013 and the #19 Juco Soph from NJ at an out of state Junior College.
